City & Guilds 2365-02
Level 2 Diploma
Study notes, practice by topic and mock exams laid out like the real tests.
Who it’s for
Apprentices and learners starting out on the Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations.
What’s inside
- Study notes for every unit, with flash cards, interactive visualisations and quick checks
- Hundreds of practice questions with hints, by topic and by sub-topic
- Unit mock exams with the real number of questions, time and pass mark
- Formula sheet with transposition practice, glossary and knowledge cards
Why it helps
Practise each topic until it sticks, then sit mock exams under the same conditions as the real thing.

The Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365-02) is where most electrical apprentices start. It covers health and safety, electrical science, installation technology and communicating on site, and each unit ends in its own test.
ProBits breaks every unit into topics. Each topic has study notes written in plain English, flash cards, interactive visualisations you can play with, and quick checks after each section. When a topic feels solid, practise its questions, then sit a mock exam set out like the real test: the same number of questions, the same time limit and the same pass mark.

How to use it
- 1Start with a topic's study notes. Read each section, open the flash cards and try the interactive visualisations until the idea makes sense.
- 2Answer the quick check at the end of each section. A wrong answer links you straight back to the part of the notes that explains it.
- 3Practise the topic's questions, with hints when you need them, until you're getting most of them right first time.
- 4Sit the unit's mock exam under real conditions, then use your weak topics list to decide what to revise next.
Try a sample question
If a conductor's length is tripled and its area stays the same, its resistance becomes:
- AThree times the original
- BOne third
- CUnchanged
- DNine times the original
Show the answer
Answer: A. R = ρL/A, so tripling L triples R. Area would have the opposite (inverse) effect.
Questions about this course
- Is this the official City & Guilds course?
- No. ProBits is a revision and practice app. It isn't made, approved or endorsed by City & Guilds, and you still sit your real exams through your college or training provider.
- Are the mock exams like the real Level 2 tests?
- Each unit's mock exam follows the City & Guilds handbook for that unit: the number of questions, the time allowed and the pass mark, with questions shared across the topics the way the real test shares them.
- How much does it cost?
- One subscription opens every course: £6.49 a month or £57 a year. Every new account starts with 14 days free, and you can cancel any time.
